Our Services

Compassionate emotional support throughout pregnancy and early parenthood

At Embrace Maternity & Wellness Services, we provide Medicare-funded perinatal emotional and mental health support delivered by endorsed midwives.
Our care is person-centred, trauma-informed, and tailored to meet you where you are in your journey.

Support is available during pregnancy and the postnatal period, via telehealth and phone appointments.

What we support

Emotional wellbeing during pregnancy and early parenthood can be affected by many factors. We commonly support women experiencing:

  • Anxiety or excessive worry

  • Low mood or depression

  • Emotional overwhelm or adjustment difficulties

  • Birth-related distress or trauma

  • Relationship or role changes

  • Feelings of guilt, shame, or isolation

  • Difficulty bonding or navigating early parenting

  • Grief and infant loss

You do not need a diagnosis to access support — if something doesn’t feel right, that is reason enough to reach out.

Screening & Assessment

We provide gentle, evidence-based screening to better understand your emotional wellbeing and support needs.

This may include:

  • Supportive conversations

  • Use of validated screening tools

  • Collaborative goal setting

Assessment is always conducted at your pace, in a respectful and non-judgemental way.

Care Coordination & Referrals

When additional or specialised support is needed, we can assist with referrals and care coordination.

This may include collaboration with:

  • GPs

  • Psychologists or counsellors

  • Psychiatrists

  • Other allied health professionals

With your consent, we work alongside your existing care team to ensure continuity and coordinated support.

How appointments work

Appointments are delivered via telehealth or phone consultation.

  • Services are Medicare bulk-billed throughout your pregnancy up until 6 weeks postpartum

  • Private Fee of $85.00 for all appointments from 6 weeks postpartum

  • Appointments are flexible and designed to fit around family life

  • You may self-refer or be referred by a health professional

We aim to make accessing care as simple and supportive as possible.
